Capital Pride Partnership Awards

This is your chance to nominate an individual, group or business in the community who deserves to be recognized! To nominate someone, please send an email to gala@capitalpride.ca and indicate how they meet the following criteria.

Outstanding Community Member

1. Demonstration of a positive impact on a GLBTTQ organization or group in the Ottawa–Gatineau region over the past year.
2. Contributes to the activities of one or more GLBTTQ groups that work to raise awareness of the issues that are facing the GLBTTQ community in the Ottawa–Gatineau region.
3. Consistently reflects a positive image of the GLBTTQ community in the Ottawa–Gatineau region.

Outstanding Community Group

1. Demonstration of a positive impact on the GLBTTQ community in the Ottawa–Gatineau region over the past year.
2. Promotes awareness of the issues that are affecting the GLBTTQ community in the Ottawa–Gatineau region as a whole.
3. Makes continual efforts to advance the causes of the GLBTTQ community in the Ottawa–Gatineau region.

Outstanding Local Business

1. Demonstration of continual support of the GLBTTQ community in the Ottawa–Gatineau region through their products or services.
2. Demonstration of support for the efforts and activities of the GLBTTQ community over the year.
3. Contributes to a positive image of the GLBTTQ community in the Ottawa–Gatineau region.

The Capital Pride Partnership Awards will be presented to the winners at the annual Capital Pride Awards Gala on Friday, August 27, 2010 at ARC THE HOTEL. This formal event is open to the public. If you would like to attend, please RSVP at gala@capitalpride.ca. Space is limited, so RSVP today!
