Capital Pride Youth

What is CPY?

Capital Pride Youth or CPY was founded in 2009 to ensure that youth are properly represented during the festival and throughout the year.  CPY offers activities that are accessible and interesting to youth from GLBTTQ families or who self-identify as GLBTTQ or allies.

Under the direction of the Youth Coordinator, the CPY Committee is aimed at organizing and executing events for youth aged 21 and younger. This is done thanks to dedicated volunteers, and community partnerships with organizations such as Ten Oaks Project, Youth Services Bureau, Jer's Vision, Pink Triangle Youth, and Vox Théâtre.

Mission:

To engage in dynamic, organic and raw entertainment to empower and include our youth community in Pride. If you are interested in joining the CPY Netowk, or for more information, feel free to send an email to youth@capitalpride.ca
